My question is whether or not you should get rid of the dirty grease and get some clean stuff? I hate to think what's gotten caught up in mine.JoieDehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11469378126099772466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-707550121149383681.post-12926071264268193472013-07-10T12:48:05.401-07:002013-07-10T12:48:05.401-07:00This looks great!

I also have a the heavy duty lift bowl model. Kitchenaid is simply not up to the task of needing pozza doi on a weekly basis. If you want that, get a Bosch or Electrolux. If you dont beleive me go on Amazon or look up youtube and why there are 125k views on a video about how to replace the worm assembly. Ad no, the HD models metal gear also breaks off the exact same way. If you are making butter.. Or cookies.. Or cake.. Go ahead get a kitchenaid (although id get a hand mixer). If you are going to be using this machine for what is should be used for - kneading dooughs, then forget about it.. Yes i also have the memories of growing up with a Kitchenaid in the kitchen and i guess i expected it to be a qaupity product that stood the test of time.. Lol.. I think we've all been conned.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-707550121149383681.post-19333754662195993232013-04-04T18:22:29.429-07:002013-04-04T18:22:29.429-07:00Thanks!!Thanks!!G. What has worked best for me was baking the crust for 10mins at 350F and letting it cool before filling, which helped set the crust. Also, placing a roasting pan half filled with water on the rack below the cupcakes avoided the cracking in my situation. I hope this is helpful!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-707550121149383681.post-37613424101501438052013-03-18T08:34:19.015-07:002013-03-18T08:34:19.015-07:00Must you use fondant right away or does it keep? ...Must you use fondant right away or does it keep? Tasted like pancakes and bacon. I let the cupcakes set a good 12 hours before serving, seems to bring out the flavors more. The only criticism is that the cake was more bread-like than cake like -- perhaps less buttermilk? Also, next time I plan to add more maple syrup to the frosting. The bacon flavor overwhelmed the maple flavor a bit.<br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-707550121149383681.post-31329028462613571322013-01-31T08:09:38.297-08:002013-01-31T08:09:38.297-08:00The recipe is written for 12 full size cupcakes al...The recipe is written for 12 full size cupcakes already :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09197675931059123136noreply@blogger.com
